Limited to 50 hand numbered & signed copies. Tooth & Friction is a musical sound installation conceived and produced by Alexander Hacke to accompany *Stranger*, an exhibition of paintings by Chet Zar at the Strychnine Gallery, Berlin in 2007. At the exhibition, 2 separate stereo systems were lined up x-shaped in a room and the two discs were played simultaneously with each of the players set to repeat. Each time the piece began again, the contents of each disc sounded different in relation to one another. The discs are also intended to be played simultaneously at home.
